I woke up at 3.30am (Australian time) to watch the inaugauration of Barack Obama. It really is an historic day. As I was awake so early I went down to Currumbin Beach to catch the sunrise. It was a little cloudy, but really beautiful. Hardly any one on the beach at that time, a perfect time for a little quiet reflection. It really makes you believe that you really can achieve anything if you put your mind and heart into it.
Your photography with the "near-sunrise" looks really gorgeous and it's a great luck to have the beach and the sea that close to your home.
